現為國立臺灣師範大學音樂系大提琴專任教授。畢業於美國密西根州立大學大提琴演奏博士學位。

伶宜演出活躍多元，除了持續製作並執行演出專題系列的個人獨奏會，並為國內知名室內樂團體Cello4大提琴四重奏以及Infinite首席四重奏固定成員，更經常應允國內外各方音樂名家之邀合作演出音樂會。曾與台北市立交響樂團、國立臺灣交響樂團、長榮交響樂團、國立師範大學音樂系管絃樂團…等合作演出協奏曲。數次應邀於金曲獎頒獎典禮演出並擔任頒獎人，也曾於第十一屆國家文藝獎頒獎典禮中演出；多次赴義大利音樂夏令營International Academy of Music以及 Todi International Music Academy 邀請任教及演出。2011年12月參與由國內流行音樂界音樂人發起之《如果有一天我不在，樹在–音樂人陳志遠紀念演唱會》擔任獨奏演出，追憶此一音樂界傳奇人物。2012年4月在台北國家音樂廳與俄籍鋼琴家梅優葉娃（Irina Mejoueva）合作演出鋼琴與大提琴二重奏之夜。2018年6月受邀赴亞美尼亞擔任第十四屆哈察督量國際音樂大賽(Khachaturian International Competition) 大提琴評審，同年8月受邀至大陸寧波擔任中國第七屆全國青少年大提琴大賽評委。

除音樂演出外，於2005年成立「歐陽伶宜大提琴音樂方程式」工作室，投入專輯錄音製作。首張專輯《歐陽伶宜大提琴四重奏Live Recording》旋即獲得2006年金曲獎「最佳演奏專輯」及「最佳作曲人獎」兩項大獎。目前已累積九張有聲資料出版品，並多次獲得金曲獎榮譽獎項。

在個人獨奏會上，從07年開始，推動以作曲家作品為獨奏會主題的計劃，從大提琴聖經《巴赫大提琴無伴奏組曲》為起點，還包括《貝多芬大提琴奏鳴曲與變奏曲全集》等全系列作品。自2010年起，製作演出一系列大提琴奏鳴曲作品—《浪潮》，演出布拉姆斯、蕭邦、拉赫曼尼諾夫、舒曼、理查‧史特勞斯、法國系列等作曲家之經典大提琴作品。

Currently holding a cello full-time faculty position at Taiwan's NTNU, Professor Ling-Yi Ou Yang is very much in demand as a teacher, and active in recording and concert performance throughout China and Taiwan.

Professor Ou Yang has performed concertos with Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, and NTNU Philharmonic Orchestra. She performs virtually the entire standard cello repertoire as well as premier works by contemporary Taiwanese and Chinese composers such as Hope Wen-Pin Lee, Ching-Wen Chao, and Chien-Yu Huang, etc. She has been invited to give concerts in China, the United States, France, and Italy.

In 2005 Professor Ou Yang founded the cello quartet "Cello4" in Taiwan, which has given concerts and published several recordings since and won Taiwan's Golden Melody Award. She is also the founding cellist in the Infinite String Quartet, which has performed in the opening concerts for the Eslite Chamber Music Festivalsince 2016 and has won loves from many classical music fans.

Prof. Ou Yang has given masterclasses at conservatories and universities throughout Taiwan and China. She spends her summers performing and teaching at places like the International Music Academy in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana , and the Todi Internaitonal Music Academy. She has been a jury member in the 14th Khachaturian International Competition in Armenia and the 7th National Youth Cello Competition in China.

Her recording catalogue includes "J.S. Bach: Six Suites for Violoncello Solo", "L. van Beethoven: Complete Works for Violoncello and Piano", "Dialogs-Two Cellos". "First Taiwanese Cello Quartet Live Recording", and "Cello4 -Two Years"etc. Some of these albums were selected as "Eslite Listen Top 15" in its publishing years, and won nominations for the "Best Classical Album", "Best Producer", and "Best Performer" at Taiwan's Golden Melody Award. She also recorded for the Chi Mei Culture Foundation's Famous Violins Digital Archive Projecton its cello collection.
