大師班 Masterclasses
本屆TWICF的大師班授課師資─朱利安．拉斐爾（Victor Julien-Laferrière）、陳亦柏（ Yibai Chen）、克日什托夫．米哈爾斯基（Krzysztof Michalski）以及北村陽（Yo Kitamura）皆為當前國際樂壇的佼佼者。今年，TWICF將在臺北、高雄舉行大師班，共規劃16堂大師課，透過報名甄選錄取16位學員，每人一堂課，一對一接受國際大師指導，並從獲選學員中擇優2位，提供「指導費用全額補助」。

▌ 授課師資
朱利安．拉斐爾Victor Julien-Laferrière
在演奏與指揮皆有超凡表現的法國重要大提琴家，曾獲2017伊莉莎白女王大賽桂冠、2012布拉格之春國際大賽首獎，2018年法國「音樂勝利獎」年度最佳獨奏家。
陳亦柏 Yibai Chen
2022伊莉莎白女王大賽第二名，同時也是柴科夫斯基大賽、盧托斯拉夫斯基大賽及安奈斯可國際大賽得主，英國Classic FM 2026年度新星及BBC新生代藝術家（2026-2028）。
克日什托夫．米哈爾斯基Krzysztof Michalski
歐陸近年最受矚目的波蘭大提琴新星，曾獲2024慕尼黑ARD國際大賽第二名，也是David Geringas、Zoltán Kodály及Krzysztof Penderecki等著名大賽得主。
北村陽Yo Kitamura
大放異彩的日本傑出新生代大提琴家，囊括2024安奈斯可國際大賽與卡薩爾斯國際獎雙料首獎、2023布拉姆斯國際大賽首獎、2022哈察都量國際音樂大賽第二名。

報名資格：2001年1月1日以後出生之在學學生或青年大提琴家

報名時間：2026年7月10日（五）起至2026年8月10日（一）23:59止。

報名費：新台幣1,200元整。

報名方式：填寫線上報名表單(網址將於開放報名前一天公告)；請於報名截止前依規定上傳一年內個人演奏影片YouTube連結與個人中英文簡歷。

錄取公告：2026年8月25日前公告，藝術節將錄取16位學員，每位將獲得一堂一對一大師班課程（每堂課45分鐘），並於當中擇優2位提供「指導費用全額補助」。

大師班指導費用：新台幣8,000元整，請於2026年9月1日前完成匯款，逾期視同放棄。

個別課上課師資由TWICF安排，恕無法挑選師資。

獲選學員可免費旁聽上課時段之大師班課程、享藝術節音樂會購票優惠。

費用：上午／下午時段，各新台幣500元；當天報到後，配戴紙手環入場。

特別說明：凡報名10/05或10/06「下午時段」大師班旁聽者，可免費參加當天的工作坊（無需填寫工作坊報名表單）。

This year's TWICF Masterclasses will be led by four internationally acclaimed artists:
Victor Julien-Laferrière, Yibai Chen, Krzysztof Michalski and Yo Kitamura. A total of 16 individual masterclasses will be held in Taipei and Kaohsiung, with 16 selected students receiving one-on-one instruction from these cello masters. Among those selected, two participants will be awarded a full tuition waiver.

Masterclass Faculty
Victor Julien-Laferrière
A leading French cellist renowned for his exceptional achievements as both performer and conductor, he was awarded First Prize at the 2017 Queen Elisabeth Competition, First Prize at the 2012 Prague Spring International Competition, and was named Soloist of the Year at France's Victoires de la Musique Classique in 2018.
Yibai Chen
Second Prize winner of the 2022 Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition, as well as prize winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, Lutosławski International Cello Competition, and George Enescu International Competition, Yibai Chen was named one of Classic FM's Rising Stars of 2026 and selected as a BBC New Generation Artist for 2026–2028.
Krzysztof Michalski
A rising Polish cello star who has attracted wide attention across Europe in recent years, he was awarded Second Prize at the 2024 ARD International Music Competition in Munich. He is also a laureate of prestigious competitions dedicated to David Geringas, Zoltán Kodály, and Krzysztof Penderecki.
Yo Kitamura
A brilliant emerging Japanese cellist of the new generation, he has garnered major international recognition, winning First Prize at both the 2024 Enescu International Competition and the Casals International Award, First Prize at the 2023 Brahms International Competition, and Second Prize at the 2022 Khachaturian International Competition.
Solo Masterclass Application
Eligibility:
Cellists born after January 1, 2001, who are currently students or emerging artists.
Application Period:
July 10 (Fri) – August 10 (Mon), 2026, until 23:59

How to Apply:
Fill out the online application form (link to be announced one day before registration opens). Submit a personal performance video (YouTube link) recorded within the past year, along with your CV in Chinese and English.
Results Announcement:
By August 25, 2026 – 16 participants will be selected, each receiving one 45-minute private lesson. Among them, 2 will be awarded full tuition coverage.
Tuition Fee:
NTD 8,000 – payment due by September 1, 2026. Late payment will be considered as a withdrawal.

Faculty assignments will be arranged by TWICF; requests for specific instructors are not accepted.

Selected students may attend other masterclasses as auditors for free, and will receive a discount on TWICF concert tickets.
Auditing Masterclasses

Special Note:
Those who register to audit the afternoon sessions on October 5 or 6 may attend the corresponding workshops for free (no separate workshop registration needed).
